“Tawaf” has an elaborate circle that grows. It has a square and the boundaries of this square cannot be exceeded. Because such a situation eliminates the mystical tightly interactive/mystical relationship with the trajectory of the circle, in which the boundaries of space and time do not exist. It is out of this strong Sufi mystical equation that Turkish artist Ertuğrul Berberoğlu's visual “Tawaf” project has emerged.

In his painting, which displays a strong Sufi tendency, the artist not only reveals the meeting between himself and the material, but also the meeting between the materials and the essence of these materials. This, the meeting between external movements and internal movements is also realized.

It is a meeting that can stimulate the target audience's imagination and open their eyes to various possibilities, possibilities that may or may not seem possible.
